A lovely good morning, afternoon, or evening to every one a part of the RC global family! Thank you for taking the time to read my weekly Connect Point. The purpose of each one of these is to connect with you and keep you informed about what's taking place here at RC.

We know that most of you, like myself, have already been fully vaccinated by now. Still, we are excited to announce that on Sunday, July 18th, the CIUSSS de l'Ouest de Montreal will be offering the COVID-19 Pfizer vaccination on-site at our church for free starting at 10 am. So anyone who needs their first or second vaccine shot can receive it right here at church.

If you or someone you know would like to take advantage of this service, please call or email the names at (514) 469-2408 ext. 11 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. No appointment is necessary. However, we need the first and last names of the people in advance so we can make sure there are enough supplies.

I realize that many people still have some concerns about taking the Covid-19 shot, and we can empathize with you. However, we are providing this service here at church to make it easy and convenient for those who desire to get the vaccine but don't want to go and stand in a public line or take time off work. Understand, we are NOT in any way providing this service to apply pressure or to manipulate people into getting the vaccine shot. Each person is free to decide whether to get the vaccine or not, with both vaccinated and unvaccinated people welcomed here at the RC.

Family, last Saturday, First Lady and I went to the mall for the first time in over a year. After we finished doing what we needed to do, we went to the food court to have lunch (my favorite part of going to the mall LOL). The place I chose to get my food was bustling, and I stood in line for 30 minutes or so, which gave me some time to do some people-watching.

When I observed the people, I noticed that so many people looked broken, and I felt so much compassion for them because some looked confused and out of place. Then I heard the Holy Spirit say, "the people are broken because they are lost."

I wonder how many people are reading this post, and you are living with a broken heart?  I wonder how many of you feel like your heart has been shattered because of a fractured relationship, a broken home, or even a broken promise?

I want you to know that my God wants to restore and heal your broken heart regardless of where your brokenness stems from. He wants to give you a new heart, one that will allow you to be loved and love others. So, if you're seeking to restore a broken heart, start by meditating on these three promises from God's Word:

  • God has the power to heal your heart. Psalm 147:3 (GNTD) says, "He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds."

  • God is near. Psalm 34:18 (GNTD) says, "The LORD is near to those who are discouraged; he saves those who have lost all hope."

  • God cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 (GNTD) says, "Leave all your worries with him because he cares for you."

Family, I want you to know and tell others that our God can restore what is broken and turn brokenness into something beautiful. "All you need is faith." Joel 2:25. Trust in God because He can still move a mighty mountain.

Whatever you are going through today, remember that our God has the power to heal your heart. He is near to the brokenhearted. He cares and loves YOU.
